This will be a very short and to the point column, because I don't have time to talk about a variety of topics.
In the State of Missouri there is a group of uninformed, bumbling
bureaucrats known as The Missouri Athletic Commission. This group has
all but destroyed professional wrestling in the State of Missouri, and
they have struck again. This time it was at a TNA house show in Cape
Girardeau, MO, when the commission refused to allow half the wrestlers
on the card to compete over licensing issues. Fans were given the
option of getting a refund or having fan interaction with the TNA stars.
Now, you might be thinking TNA really got screwed up there in Cape Girardeau, but ultimately it was the fans who got the shaft.
One thing must be said, however much you despise the Missouri Athletic Commission... TNA is partly to blame for this disaster. They should have dealt with the Athletic Commission in advance to make sure they were in compliance with Missouri licensing requirements, as ridiculous as those requirements might be.
